Day 44 of 365 day blog: NOEL

Day 44 of my 365 day blog! Talkin’ about the word, “Noel.” The word Noel is a noun and means the Christmas season or in lowercase it means a Christmas song or carol. The origin of the word, Noel, is French from the years 1805-1815. Christmas means a lot of different things to different people. To Christians it means the nativity or birth of Christ Jesus. It is predominantly a Christian holiday. There are some Christians that do not observe Christmas. Some of them include Quakers and Jehovah’s Witnesses. The modern meaning of Christmas is the season when we celebrate our family and friends. Whether you think Jesus is the reason for the season or not, I sincerely wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas!!!
