Day 82 of 365: Who do you LOVE?

Day 82: Who do you LOVE? I immediately think of the song by George Thorogood back in 1978, not the one by hip-hop artist YG. For those of you that have been reading my blog I am not a millennial and don’t always keep up with the latest music! Music is such a huge part of our lives isn’t it?

Now to the burning question, who do you love? When I think of my answer, I think of my God, my husband, my 4 kids, and my parents. My love for them is constant and true. When you love someone SO much that their absence would nearly tear your heart out! Now that is LOVE!!! A love that is unconditional, vulnerable and untempered!

My husband and I have been married for 34 years and we have been through many peaks and valleys, ups and downs and LOVE has survived it all! We have survived many moves, some good, some bad for various reasons. Now that we are in the “autumn” of our lives we are settling down, no more wander lust. We are empty nesters who are lovingly anticipating grandchildren. No hurries by any means! We are ready to give love to our kid’s kids. Everything happens in its own time, as we all know.

I ask you now, WHO DO YOU LOVE?

Like or comment, if you would!

  1. I am reminded of the quote, “How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.”
A.A. Milne, The Complete Tales of Winnie-the-Pooh.
    A rich life indeed!

  2. Yes, music is integral to our lives.
